Compliance Officer Planning

Our Atherton based team is looking for an experienced & knowledgeable individual to join our Development Services team on a full time maximum term basis effective until March 2027. 

The Compliance Officer – Planning is primarily responsible for overseeing the planning and development compliance processes at Tablelands Regional Council (TRC). This role focuses on ensuring the effective management of planning and development compliance matters, including the timely execution of enforcement actions and the provision of advice and guidance to both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the officer plays an active role in engaging with community, developers and stakeholders, conducting site visits, and discussing compliance matters directly with them to ensure adherence to regulations. This position is central to the planning and development compliance strategy, ensuring all matters are handled efficiently and in alignment with regulatory requirements.

  • Base salary package from $81,239.85 per annum ($3,124.61 per fortnight)
  • Maximum Term - 2 years from commencement
  • Locality allowances (if eligible)
